CallerAgent
An AI voice agent makes the first call, and the operator only talks to people who want to talk.
Problem
The operator dialled by hand, number after number. Voicemail, no answer and uninterested calls took time that should have gone to people ready to talk.
Solution
The voice agent handles the first contact. When the person is interested, the call goes to the operator, and the system records the result of every attempt.
Result
A person talks to the people who want to talk. Judgement and help stay on the human side.
How one call flows
- An approved contact and campaign data enter the app.
- CallerAgent creates a call job and tracks its state.
- The ElevenLabs voice agent holds the conversation.
- Zadarma connects the phone call.
- The result is saved, and an interested person goes to the operator.
- The provider event comes back by webhook to the right record.
- n8n and Telegram notify the operator of a confirmed handover.
What I built
- A Next.js and PostgreSQL app that runs the whole flow.
- Data and state for contacts, campaigns, call jobs, attempts, results and provider events.
- The connection between the ElevenLabs voice agent and Zadarma telephony.
- Webhook handling, event matching and handover confirmation.
- Reports and operator notifications through n8n and Telegram.

What I learned
Start with the smallest flow that works
At first I added too much at once: gates, checks and safeguards before the basic call even worked. It made building and testing harder.
Now I start with one contact, one call, one result and one handover to a person. I add the rest only once that works. I run client projects the same way.
